What to do if one of your car's windshield wiper blades stop working or is broken? Well, I woke up one lovely morning to find that my passenger's side wiper on my vehicle (Subaru) was not moving / functioning properly...seemingly dead. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the wiper arm was attempting to rotate - or wanting to - ever so slightly. While I had suspected the splines were stripped or the motor burned out, after removing the cap, I saw the nut that holds the arm down was lose, which suggested there was limited "bite" or grip where the wiper arm connected to between the nut and bolt. Couldn't have been an easier fix! Tightened the nut down with a ratchet (adjust wipers to correct position before tightening) and voila, good as new. Hope this helps!
