Need more storage space for your home or garage? I enclosed the open area under our deck / patio / porch area using lattice, a wood frame, garden fabric, tin/metal roof panels, and gravel. It's an easy-to-moderate DIY job and you can finish in a weekend. The roof panels, corrugated, run angled so that rain and water exit, leaving my lawnmower and other garden / lawn gear dry. The lattice with landscape fabric installed over a 1x2 painted frame (with lockable door) provides extra security. Looks beautiful, is durable and waterproof, and adds a LOT of extra storage space to our home.
