🍒 DIY Beadboard Ceiling➔How to Easily Make an Unfinished Outdoor Patio/Porch Ceiling Look Beautiful

How to make an unfinished outdoor patio/porch ceiling look beautiful is a relatively easy job. Instructions: complete any electrical work as needed (i.e. ceiling fan). Buy some huge 4'x8' sheets of pre-primed beadboard, measure REALLY well, then cut into strips using a circular saw. Dry fit and trim as needed. To secure to ceiling, install 1x2 or 2x2 strips to run parallel to your joists, up about an inch from the bottom, to serve as a "back" upon which you can screw or nail the beadboard you just cut. With a brad nail gun, secure painted beadboard pieces to ceiling. Use paintable caulking to hide any holes or gaps. TIP: paint beadboard before securing to ceiling.
