Cords dropping down from your wall-mounted TV to the power outlet can be unsightly. I hid and concealed all mine by relocating the outlet to the opposite side of the wall (use licensed electrician!!), then fed all my cords through wall down the joist (within the SAME joist so you don't have to drill horizontally inside the wall!!) so they are plugging into outlet on opposite wall. I covered THOSE with a kitchen cabinet which I shorted and painted. Boom - no cords visible!!
