Just when I thought I was getting pretty good at home maintenance, a simple job tripped me up: how to change a light bulb in a flush mount ceiling fixture that doesn't have a knob, just glass! Humbling, indeed. That said, it's pretty simple. 60 seconds later, I figured it out. Just have to put a little elbow grease into it when you turn the glass, still being cautious of course.
