Did you try to clean or get rid of candle wax in the dishwasher? We made the mistake of running flower vases with candle wax on the inside through our dishwasher. Can it clean candle wax. 100% NO! The wax completely vaporized and adhered to all surfaces, causing the dishwasher to read an error message and not work. The solution: thoroughly clean the filter system using HOT water, a shop vac, paper towels, and a sponge. Be careful that the large wax pieces (or any, really!) do not enter into the circulation system. No guarantee this will work, but it did for us and was definitely an easier job than expected. Saved us HUNDREDs of dollars not calling the repair guy.
