A pinhead-sized hole in drywall is easy enough to fill with drywall patch or spackle, but what if you have a bigger hole that requires the drywall patch to be SANDED? Also easy, right? Except that sanding the dried patch means you have to sand around the hole as well, which can result in the drywall's textured surface being flatted or damaged. This can create an unsightly, obvious repair job. Instead of sandpaper, use a wet rag or paper towel to rub off the dried drywall patch. The result: the drywall's texture remains unchanged, and the hole is perfectly "sanded" flush with the wall. Hope this tip helps!
