Need ideas on what to do with an old wood pallet? How do you make DIY bed slats? In this video, I show you how I made DIY bed slats using an old wood pallet for my daughter's bedroom. Bed slats are expensive! The price of a pallet? About $5. Just go to your local ACE Hardware or Lowe's and ask to buy one. They are pre-measured for the bed size I'm working with and durable. I pried up the pallet wood, removed the nails, and safely cleaned and sealed the old wood using bleach, prime, and paint so mildew is secured and not escaping into the air. Anyway, Hope this helps!
