This video shows you some DIY tips and tricks on how you can remove construction glue and dried 100% silicone from drywall, without damaging the surrounding orange peel drywall texture. I'm working on a bathroom renovation and had removed a stone backsplash from the vanity, leaving glue residue and silicone stuck to the wall. This stuff is NOT easy to remove. The best approach is to use: 1. For silicone, a multi-tool to lift up the majority 2. Followed by a rag or washcloth to scrub away the residue 3. For glue, you want to "chip" off using a multi-tool or a wide putty knife or paint scraper & hammer 4. I do NOT recommend sanding because it can damage existing texture 5.
