We recently purchased an old bunk bed, used, and I realized this could be a great DIY project for someone interested in saving money and making a custom bunk bed for kids. The project would be fairly simple in terms of supply list and cuts, since the bed is entirely made from 1x6 or 1x6 boards. See video for ideas on how you can do this yourself! Of course, you can paint or stain it to meet your preferences.
