If you are looking to upgrade or transition your child from a crib to a big kid bed, this Linenspa hybrid memory foam mattress is highly recommended. Three years later, it's holding its shape well, has no smell or squeaky springs, and is SUPER comfortable. It's sturdy enough for adults (although I did make wood supports for it using plywood and other materials) and requires NO BOX SPRINGS!
