This video reviews a fast-setting tile grout called Ultracolor from Mapei. It overall is a superb grout, loaded with technology, compared to "normal" grout. But will its finished color match the label's color? How is it different from other grout? How fast does it dry/set/cure? Will it turn into a ball of cement before you can finish the job? Many seem to think this grout is riskier to work with, but not if you can control the temperature. I'm working indoors, with the thermostat set to 63 degrees F, making the shower install location about 67 degrees. As you will see, this grout doesn't fast set, is easy to apply, and is a pleasure to work with, making this one of the best grouts I've used. Of course, don't forget to mix a test batch for color matching and consistency prior to applying on your project. Highly recommended!
