Replacing old kitchen cabinets with new ones is expensive. This video reviews a high-end acrylic paint for DIY kitchen cabinets, an option that can save you thousands of dollars! How to apply: Apply with a brush, then roll it out using a foam roller. 1-2 coats should do the trick, but I did 3 coats just to make sure (a little goes a long way!). Of course, make sure you spend adequate time prepping before you paint. I roughed up the surfaces with sandpaper and also used a deglosser - super fast and easy. I recommend you use primer first, although depending on the wood type, you may just paint right on top (test first!). Highly recommended overall. Professional paint for the DIYer.
