🍒 Should I Use Nails or Screws to Secure My Shower Pan/Base Flange to the Wall Studs?

This DIY video tests out whether or not you should use large head nails, regular stainless steel screws, or special cement backboard screws to secure a fiberglass shower pan / base flange to your wall studs. In the video, I liked the flush countersunk stainless screws the best, but ultimately I ended up going with the cement backboard screws with a countersink, as they ultimately had the best "bite". The roofing nail had the potential for not only damaging the pan from hammer impact, but over time may loosen or rub and create a squeaking sound. Hope this helps!
