If you'd like more horizontal / side shade for your outdoor pergola, consider installing / adding these shades that slide open and close. Simple drill holes in the metal beam, slide the eye-bolt through, then hook on the tension hardware with curtain rod rings. For color matching, consider spray painting the hardware. Easy DIY job!
